A Pool Company for New Builds, Renovations, and Backyard Planning

Payne Pool Professionals is a swimming pool design and construction company serving homeowners across Florida and the Alabama Gulf Coast through regional teams. The company builds custom gunite and fiberglass pools, offers vinyl liner pools in participating markets, and works on existing pools through remodeling, replastering, and equipment installation.

We begin with the property and the people who will use the pool. A family-focused layout, a space to swim laps, a shallow ledge for relaxing, or a design that connects with the patio all call for different decisions. Our 3D design process lets you explore pool placement, features, and surrounding space before construction begins. Start by sharing your location and what you have in mind, and the appropriate Payne Pool Professionals team can discuss the next steps.

Not every pool type is suitable for every property, and different regions offer different services. Start with the project that matches what you need, then talk with a regional Payne Pool Professionals team about availability and design considerations.

Custom gunite swimming pool

Custom Gunite Pools

For homeowners who want flexibility in pool shape, depth, seating, and integrated features, gunite offers a customizable approach. Explore curved or geometric designs, attached spas, tanning ledges, and material selections that can make the pool feel connected to the home and outdoor space.

Fiberglass swimming pool

Fiberglass Pools

Fiberglass pools use manufactured shells offered in a range of sizes and layouts. Their smooth surface and established shell designs appeal to homeowners who prefer to choose from available models rather than design every dimension from scratch. Payne Pool Professionals installs Latham fiberglass pools where suitable for the project.

Vinyl liner swimming pool

Vinyl Liner Pools

Vinyl liner pools offer a smooth swimming surface with liner patterns and configuration choices that suit a range of backyards. Availability depends on the region and project. Vinyl liner pools are not offered by the Tampa operation, so confirm your local options before planning around this construction type.

Pool Remodeling & Replastering

If you already own a swimming pool, a remodel may help you update its appearance or functionality without replacing the entire structure. Depending on the pool and scope, improvements can include interior finishes, tile, coping, decking, lighting, and equipment.

The Pool Is Only Part of the Design

A finished backyard takes shape through a series of connected choices. Pool type, interior finish, tile, coping, decking, lighting, and added features all affect how the space looks and functions. Payne Pool Professionals' 3D pool design process helps homeowners consider these pieces together before construction.

Hand-drawn pool and landscape design plan

Pool Finishes & Tile

Explore interior colors and textures alongside waterline tile and decorative details. Finishes and tile influence the finished look of the water and the style of the pool's edges.

Decking & Coping

The space surrounding the pool affects circulation, seating, transitions, and how the backyard connects to the house. Compare materials with both appearance and everyday use in mind.

Features & 3D Planning

Spas, benches, ledges, water features, and lighting can change how the pool is used. Reviewing their placement in a 3D design can make the trade-offs clearer before the project moves forward.

Why Homeowners Consider Payne Pool Professionals

A pool company should help you understand choices, not simply hand you a standard package. Payne Pool Professionals brings together multiple pool construction methods, design tools, and regional project teams so homeowners can evaluate what makes sense for their property.

We got a pool from Payne Pool a little over a year ago. We went with a gunite salt water pool. I should have written this review then. They did a wonderful job with what we requested. They extended our patio at a fraction of the price of what other's were quoting us. My only issue is that I wasn't too impressed by their "pool school" they held for us right after the construction. I had no manuals that were left behind or anything to reference. It was A LOT of information especially for people that have never owned a pool before. However, I will say that any time I have had a question they kindly answered me and always fulfilled my requested. I recently had Jonathan come by and do a quick "pool school" session with me. He was kind and patient and shared valuable information I didn't receive the first time.

Unbelievably awesome! Less than 10 weeks from no hole in the ground to my salt water and heated pool is complete and beautiful! Awesome owners, project managers, and office manager who helped me design and show tiles and mosaic options for me to choose! I’ll be teaching Swim Life Water Survival lessons starting in April so Payne Pool Professionals kept to their schedule to get my pool complete in time for me to start teaching!

Plan the Project Before You Settle on the Price

The investment in a swimming pool depends on factors such as pool type and size, site conditions, access, design complexity, finishes, equipment, decking, and added features. A useful first conversation is about your property and priorities so the next steps reflect your actual project rather than a generic online price.
